Registered Behavior Technician

Achieve RBT Employee Responsibilities

  • Full-Time(30+hrs), Part-Time(20hrs+) and PRN(<20hrs) positions 
  • Direct implementation of behavior-analytic services from behavior plans developed by BCBAs
  • The RBT does not design intervention or assessment plans. It is the responsibility of the behavior analysts to determine which tasks an RBT may perform as a function of his or her training, experience, and competence.
  • Work 1:1 with children with varying behavioral challenges while receiving training from experienced behavior analysts
  • Collect and record data on client progress
  • Complete progress notes at the conclusion of each therapy session
  • Comply with all ethics rules and discipline as set forth by the BACB

Achieve RBT Employee Qualifications

  • Successful completion of the BACB RBT exam and BACB RBT certification
  • Obtained Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in: psychology, education, communication disorders, or behavior (or will graduate in less than 2 years with a degree in these fields)
  • 2 years experience with children (2-18) or 2+ college courses in a related or similar field (ex. developmental behavior) 
  • Willing to travel - 80-90% of week to homes, schools and daycares within east Orlando area
  • Reliable transportation
  • Medicaid number preferred, but not required
  • Have outstanding interpersonal skills and communication skills with families and co-workers, be self motivated, creative, organized and attendance reliable
  • Works well with children and teams
  • Be an effective oral and written communicator

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Achieve BCBA Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and skill-based assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R) to inform and develop individualized behavior treatment plans.
  • Develop, monitor, and update ABA programs based on data and clinical observations across home, clinic, school, and community settings.
  • Provide direct and indirect supervision to RBTs in accordance with BACB standards, ensuring high-fidelity implementation of behavior plans.
  • Conduct routine RBT performance reviews and competency assessments to evaluate proficiency and guide continued growth.
  • Lead routine group support and feedback sessions for RBTs to address common challenges and provide ongoing training.
  • Engage in multi-supervisor training and collaborative supervision for BCBA candidates, including opportunities to shadow experienced clinicians and participate in both direct and indirect supervision activities aligned with BACB standards.
  • Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team of speech, music, occupational, and physical therapists, as well as educators and caregivers, to promote a coordinated and comprehensive approach to care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including treatment plans, session notes, progress summaries, and supervision documentation.
  • Train client stakeholders on ABA strategies to support generalization of skills across environments.
  • Maintain compliance with insurance and state requirements while adhering to ethical standards of the BACB.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current research and evidence-based practices in behavior analysis, and actively engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Achieve BCBA Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Active certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience delivering ABA services.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and train RBTs and conduct performance and competency evaluations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and leadership abilities.
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of settings and adapt to the needs of diverse clients and families.
  • Must be highly team-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on achieving desired outcomes.
  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental differences.
  • Familiarity with pediatric therapy models and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Experience navigating insurance documentation and authorizations.
