Music Therapist

Achieve MT Responsibilities

  • Assessment of pediatric clients
  • Create individualized treatment plans that are appropriate and effective
  • Provide evidence-based treatment
  • Electronic documentation of daily therapy notes and evaluation reports
  • Collaboration with other professionals on multi-disciplinary team
  • Parent/Caregiver communication, education, and support

Achieve MT Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Music Therapy
  • MT-BC (Music Therapist – Board Certified) by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT)
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Florida Medicaid Provider number (preferred)
  • Experience working with children & adolescents ages birth-18 (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Creative and energetic
  • Strong professional ethics and self-discipline
  • Bilingual a plus!
