Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer financial assistance or a sliding fee scale?

Yes, in some cases we can offer financial assistance when there is a financial need. Please contact us to discuss our normal rates, insurance plans accepted, or to see if you qualify for a reduced rate or fee schedule.

Do I need a referral to receive OT, PT, ABA or Speech?

Yes, in order to process your claims with insurance or Medicaid, you will need a physician's referral or prescription for evaluation and therapy. Private-pay clients do not require a physician's referral or prescription, but our therapists may ask for one to keep on file.

What ages does Achieve Pediatric Therapy serve?

We serve children ages birth to 21 years of age.

When do you require payment for therapy services?

Payment is required at the time that service is provided. Clients whose children receive OT/PT/ABA services several days weekly can pay once during the week for all dates seen. However, please contact us if you require a different payment schedule due to financial restrictions. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

Will my insurance cover my child's Therapy?

Most insurance companies do cover or reimburse for therapy services. Each client should check with his or her own policy for OT/PT/ABA coverage, restrictions, and/or visit limitations. Each insurance policy varies. It is the client’s responsibility to know and understand their policy's specific coverage and benefits.

How do I know if my child needs to have an evaluation?

Physicians, teachers, or other care-givers may notice a delay in age-expected skills, problematic behaviors, poor coordination or difficulty tolerating or responding to certain sensory information (touch, sound, movement, etc.). If you are concerned that your child is not reaching developmental milestones; is not learning at an age-expected level, or is not developing age appropriate play and social skills, please contact us to schedule an appointment.
